On this page you can read some of the most frequently asked questions in connection with insurance. With more specific questions and requests, please write to me at [email protected]
Why should you contact a personal advisor if you want to get insurance?
Everybody can find most of the necessary information on insurance online, the question is whether you have the time for it and can find the right sources of information. Furthermore, the insurance industry as well as contract terms and conditions are so complicated that it is quite difficult to get what you need if you’re not a professional. It is quick, easy, convenient and safe to ask for the help of an advisor.
They can assess the needs quickly and easily, and provide tailored proposals.
Does this advice cost anything extra?
This consulting service is free for clients.
What can I do if I want to change or suspend my insurance?
You can request any kind of change to your contract by email or at any of the contact details below, and we will help you by sending out and filling in the necessary forms.
What immediate assistance can I ask for in the event of an unexpected illness or accident?
If you have health insurance, by calling the number on your policy as soon as you can we help you get to the most suitable doctor as quickly as possible, and you only have to concentrate on getting better.
If you have health and accident insurance, once you receive the hospital discharge summaries and other related medical documents, please send them to us. We will send you a claim form to be submitted so we can compensate you for the incurred expenses.
If you have no such insurance, I recommend you contact us for a personal appointment so we can inform you about the opportunities in this product.
What do I benefit from having more than one contract or insurance policy?
The more insurance contracts you conclude with me and Generali, the greater the percentage discount you can claim separately for each contract. Furthermore, thanks to its unique client evaluation system, Generali can decide to settle on grounds of fairness in a claim settlement procedure in cases where compensation may not otherwise be due.
How much should I put aside for insurance every month?
It is really hard to tell. Everyone is different, and there can be big differences stemming from how important a given product is for a person, and what their psychological threshold is in terms of the amount they are willing to spend on such services. In my experience, generally speaking those who recognise which contract is beneficial for them and why, and are aware of their goals and the benefits for their lives, are much more willing to spend more on insurance than they had initially thought.
How and in what cases can I manage my insurance over the phone or online?
Both I and my assistant will try to assist you on the phone and online. We strive to answer any questions within 24 hours, and if a proposal takes longer to prepare, we will let you know of our estimated deadline. Deciding how a certain matter can be handled always happens on a case-by-case basis.
What telephone number can I call in the event of an emergency?

In the case of a bank loan, can I take out insurance elsewhere?
Of course, with housing or car financing loans you can conclude an insurance contract including any clause requested by the bank. It is beneficial to involve a personal consultant because if any admin, claim settlement or premium payment questions arise, you have someone to turn to, and not just the personal or telephone customer service of the insurance company.
By what age should I get pension insurance?
The sooner the better. In Western Europe it has been common for decades for young people starting work to put aside small portions of their salaries right from the very beginning for pension savings, since when collecting a given amount over a long period the number of years you have to save for is crucial.
How much do you lose if you don’t start saving at the age of 30?
In the event of a claim, what reporting obligation do I have and with what deadline?
You need to report the damage within 2 days, and you can only begin restoration work to mitigate the damage. If urgent action is necessary, only change the site of the claim to the extent necessary for damage mitigation. If you cannot do this for some reason, document the phases of the restoration process with as many photographs as possible. Do not throw away any damaged property or glass until the claim adjuster arrives at the location.
If I buy a car from a dealership, can I get the insurance from elsewhere?
Of course, you can take out insurance anywhere. At first it might seem logical and convenient to get the insurance there and then at the dealership, but this way you won’t have a personal consultant to turn to with any related issues.
How is my bonus handled?
Your bonus-malus classification is stored in the Central Claim Registration System, and when changing your third-party liability insurance the new insurer checks if you provided the correct classification. It is important to note that if you sell your vehicle and do not buy another one, you lose your classification in two years. How your bonus classification changes when you switch insurance company depends greatly on the accuracy of the data in the database because if it is incorrect, the new insurance company will reclassify the new contract as M4 under the relevant law. You must pay attention to every little detail because the earned bonus can easily be lost. This is why it is very important to provide the name of the previous insurance company and the policy number correctly.
When does the insurance company pay in the event of a cancelled trip?
Incapacity to travel
If you are forced to cancel for reasons set out in the terms and conditions (e.g. unexpected illness, accident, death, crime, termination of employment, divorce), then the insurance company will reimburse the penalty charged by the service provider (e.g. travel agency or airline) to the amount and extent stated in the policy, after deducting any deductibles.
Interruption of trip
If you cannot complete your trip or use the insured service in full for reasons listed in the terms and conditions (e.g. hospital treatment, critical condition of a close relative at home), the insurance company will reimburse the services not used by the insured person (e.g. the remaining days in the case of accommodation).
As a company owner, what insurance can I choose from to increase my employees’ loyalty?
You can protect your employees at different levels: you can compensate for their lost income with group health and accident insurance (shield) by creating separate employee groups based on the risk category they pose for the company.
With a private healthcare protection package you can ensure that if your employees need screenings, or receive outpatient or inpatient care, then, with our help, each one of them will only spend the minimum time necessary in the healthcare institution, without long waiting times or gratuity payments. This ensures they recover as quickly as possible and continue working, with the insurance picking up the entire bill, which in turn enhances your colleagues’ appreciation of your company.
What special insurance can I take out to protect my special valuables?
Various types of special property can be insured, such as artwork, paintings, antique furniture, watch collections or expensive yachts. Every unique valuable that the client considers worthy of protection is important to us. We help to minimise your financial loss if anything happens to them.
What is the 50-20-30 rule?
By complying with the 50-30-20 rule you can set your life onto a much more relaxing path. NO MORE THAN 50% of your income should cover your basic expenses. Use AT LEAST 20% of your income for a financial safety net, i.e. take out life insurance, allocate an emergency reserve, have private pension insurance, save up for your children or other purposes. Spend the remaining 30% on whatever you want to make your life more comfortable and beautiful.
